You redeem a Super Duolingo code in a browser at duolingo.com/redeem, not in the app. Here is how redemption works and what helps if the code does not work.

As of 21 September 2026. You redeem a Super Duolingo code yourself, in a web browser rather than in the app. This guide covers the steps, the requirements and what to do if redemption does not work.
How to redeem the code
- Open a browserUse a web browser on your phone, tablet or computer. According to Duolingo, codes currently cannot be redeemed in the Duolingo app.
- Log inLog in to the Duolingo account on which you want to use Super. If you do not have an account yet, create one.
- Go to duolingo.com/redeemOpen duolingo.com/redeem and enter the code you received.
- Confirm redemptionConfirm the redemption. According to Duolingo, Super features are then available on all platforms, including the iOS and Android apps.
Requirements before you buy
- Your account must not have an active Super subscription. According to Duolingo, a code cannot be applied to an active subscription.
- Check beforehand whether your account already uses Super, for example through a family plan.
- According to Duolingo, people under 13 cannot redeem a code.
What you receive from Pinclair
You receive a code for twelve months of Super Duolingo and redeem it yourself on your own account. You do not need to give us your Duolingo username or login details.

If the code does not work
Duolingo lists these causes:
- Code entered incorrectly: Enter it again, ideally by copying and pasting.
- Not logged in: Log in or create an account.
- Member of a Duolingo classroom: Leave the classroom, then enter the code again.
- Super subscription already active: The code cannot be applied to an active subscription.
- Code expired or already redeemed: It can no longer be used.
If this does not help, contact our support team with your order number and the error message shown. Do not send passwords.
Frequently asked questions
Can I redeem the Super Duolingo code in the app?
No. According to Duolingo, codes can currently only be redeemed in a web browser, including on a phone. After redemption, you can use Super in the iOS and Android apps as well.
Does the code work if a Super subscription is already active?
No. According to Duolingo, a code cannot be applied to an active subscription. Your account therefore must not have a running Super subscription.
Does Pinclair need my Duolingo login details?
No. For the code, you share neither your username nor your password with us. You redeem the code yourself on your own account.
How quickly do I receive the code?

What is the difference between the code and the family plan seat?
You redeem the code yourself without giving us any details. With the family plan seat, you receive an invitation to a family plan managed by Pinclair; for this we need your Duolingo username.
